In order to make substantive community change on behalf of older adults, community leaders must be supportive. To gauge their level of support, better understand what community leaders see as barriers and opportunities associated with making the County more age-friendly, and to test specific communication messages aimed at increasing support for older adult issues, a study was carried out by a local public affairs firm. The study incorporated executive interviews with 150 community leaders from business, government, academia, and health and social services. Click here to download the study.
